Printing, Copying & Scanning

Copyright Notice

The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, U.S.
Code) governs the making of photocopies and other reproductions of
copyrighted material.  The person using the library's printers and/or
photocopier is liable for any infringement. 


Printing

There are two black and white laser printers in the library. When logging in to one of the library's 15 thin clients, be sure to choose either Library Printer A or Library Printer B.

Students are allotted 250 printed pages per semester for free and are then charged 5¢ per page in excess of this amount. Check your usage if you are unsure of how much you've printed.

The cost for alumni, courtesy card holders, and visitors is 10¢ per page.

Copying

Adjacent to the circulation desk is a photocopier; the cost is 10¢ per side for black and white, 50¢ for color. The machine takes nickels, dimes, and quarters and also $1 and $5 bills.

Scanning

The photocopier may be used to scan and email a document in PDF format.  This services is free; directions are posted at the photocopier.
