HOMECOMING BBQ
Alumni from near and far gathered at the Homecoming BBQ to listen and
dance to the sounds of the Elmore Twist band, while catching up with
old friends.
SAINT JOSEPH’S GOLF CLASSIC
The
weather was perfect for our 70 alumni and guests as they hit the links
at Point Sebago Golf Resort in Casco. The day started with a lunch before
the shotgun start where 18 teams played for a variety of prizes – including
the coveted Saint Joseph’s Golf Classic trophy – and ended
with a post-game reception and awards ceremony.
CLASS OF ‘80 REUNION
Members of the Class of 1980 were back to celebrate 25 years since they roamed
the Saint Joe’s campus. Much had changed, but the faces and stories remained
the same! After dinner in the new Alfond Hall, the class moved the party to
The Chalet!
THE CHALET – AN OLD STANDBY
The Class of 1980 members weren’t the only alumni that were feeling
a little nostalgic about their days in The Chalet! Alumni from all generations
joined in the fun at the “Back to the Lake”
party to relive the memories of the good, ole days!
ALUMNI ATHLETIC GAMES
SOCCER
Men’s soccer alumni from 1975 to 2005 gathered in full force to
lace up the cleats and hit the field for the first annual alumni soccer
game.
CROSS COUNTRY
Men’s and women’s cross country alumni gathered back on
the course to run with the current team and coach Tom Dann.
BASEBALL
Over 50 baseball alumni joined Coach Will Sanborn ’86 for the home
run derby and alumni baseball game. They also cheered on the current
team as they took on Saint Anselm’s in a fall ball contest.
GPS RECEPTION
Distance education alumni and students gathered to listen to smooth jazz, sip
wine, and mingle with staff and faculty.
ST. JOE’S STORMS THE OLD PORT
Alumni from all generations joined in the fun on Saturday night, when
more than 50 alumni met up at Bull Feeney’s in Portland’s
Old Port to let loose and mingle.
WALTON STREET SOCIETY
The Walton Street Society recognizes and honors alumni celebrating 50 years or
more of dedication to Saint Joseph’s College. Members of the Class of
1955 were honored on Sunday morning during the annual induction ceremony and
brunch.
ALUMNI COLLEGE
Alumni had the chance to participate in a financial planning seminar
and a discussion of Pope Benedict XVI during the Alumni College workshops.
