Pat O'Brien Quinn '63 of Otisfield, Maine, writes that her year as a Fulbright Teacher in exchange in Guadeloupe, French West Indies, during
the 2000-2001 school year was a marvelous experience, and she would recommend it to any teacher interested.
Jim McGuinness '81 and Robin Maloney McGuinness '82, of Rotonda West, Fla., announce the graduation of their daughter Kelly, 22, from Central Connecticut State University. Their son Ryan, 20, is a student at Florida State University. Jim is a 5th grade math and science teacher at Deep Creek Elementary School in Punta Gorda, and Robin is the chief nursing officer at Venice Regional Medical Center in Venice.
Joan Shinkus Clark '83 of Washington D.C., recently joined the Washington Hospital Center as senior vice president of nursing and patient services. Joan was previously the vice president of patient services and chief nursing officer at Baptist Hospital of Miami in Miami, Fla. Joan is also a national board member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, and a member of the American Nurses Association, the American College of Health-care Executives, the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and Sigma Theta Tau.

Julia Harris '91 of Brooklyn, N.Y., was named Cambridge Who's Who Executive of the Year in Medical Legal Consulting. Harris owns Mykroskopics Legal Search, where she provides medical assessments and legal information by research and drawing on her experience.
Cindy Becker McLaughlin '93 of Merrimack, N.H., recently was appointed to the position of project manager at Biogen Idec in Cambridge, Mass., and husband Patrick McLaughlin '93 is the editor-in-chief at Pennwell Publishing in Nashua, N.H.
Heather Wormald Cummings '93 of Epsom, N.H., writes that she married David Cummings on Aug. 7, 1999, in Cape Neddick, Maine. Heather completed her master's degree in educational leadership from Plymouth State University while teaching middle school. Kathleen Pinard '02 of Seattle, Wash., has completed her Master of Arts in Transforming Spirituality with a specialization in spiritual direction from the School of Theology and Ministry at Seattle University. Katie was awarded the prestigious Archbishop Raymond G. Hunthausen Award for embodying the university's mission and values. She is employed at the Center for Service and Community Engagement at Seattle University, and has begun a spiritual direction and retreat direction practice.
