Marine science professor Dr. Mark Green and Lane Hubacz '09 share a laugh before heading to take core samples of marine sediment. Hubacz majored in marine science. Green is doing federally funded research on extensive juvenile clam die off and has published research in Limnology & Oceanography that shows buffering sediment with calcium carbonate helps the juveniles survive.
