Please come and share your ideas with the council on how to strengthen the Association for the next 100 years of Saint Joseph’s College.
The council helped kick off the Centennial celebrations at the college by sponsoring the Chocolate Lounge of the Centennial Kickoff on February 4. The first big event in celebration of this big year, more than 240 people gathered on campus to wish the college “Happy Birthday.”

The council is planning events for alumni in honor of the Centennial year including:
June 1: An all-alumni cruise from Casablanca Cruises in downtown Portland featuring the sounds of the Time Pilots, a local ’80s cover band. This event will be part of Alumni Weekend, celebrating the Centennial and reunion classes ending in 2 and 7.
June 2: The 2nd Annual Alumni Association meeting will take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Alfond Center’s Alumni Lounge.
July: SJC Goes on the Road! A traveling celebration of the Centennial for alumni, the council is planning gatherings across New England during the third week of July.
Many of the details of the above events are being planned, so the council invites alumni to check The ROCK for updates in the coming months at http://therock.sjcme.edu.
