American Red Cross

The American Red Cross of Southern Maine provides comprehensive Health and Safety Education courses, Community Disaster Education and preparedness training, and Disaster relief associated with natural of manmade events.

America Reads

Mentors work one-on-one with students twice a week, providing extra instruction and support in reading and writing.

Beacon Hospice

Beacon Hospice helps in so many ways: Talented professionals comprise each
interdisciplinary Beacon team. Join us, together we can make a difference.

Catholic Charities

Catholic Charities Maine has dedicated itself to creating, administering and advocating programs and services that reach out and fulfill critical human needs.

Choices are for Everyone, Inc. (CAFE)

CAFÉ provides community based services to children who have been diagnosed with Mental Retardation or Autism. Children learn skills surrounding behavior, daily & social living.

Community Health Systems

CHISISA non-profit Medicare Certified Home Health Agency. We serve clients throughout Cumberland County, Northern York County, and Southern Oxford County.

Frannie Peabody Center

The Frannie Peabody Center is dedicated to fulfilling the service needs of people living with HIV/AIDS. We provide comprehensive prevention and treatment services.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity builds simple, decent and affordable houses in partnership with people needing shelter.

Immigration Legal Advocacy Project

Immigration Clinic: Provide people of different cultures with assistance by helping clients to complete immigration forms. Other services include fundraising and office support.

The League of Young Voters

The League of Young Voters empowers young people nationwide to participate in the democratic process; focusing on non-college youth and youth from low-income communities and communities of color.

Loon Echo Land Trust

Loon Echo serves the towns of Raymond, Casco, Naples, Harrison, Sebago, Bridgton and Denmark; we have protected more than 3,307 acres of land, including 14 conservation easements and 6 preserves.

Mercy Health Systems

Each year over 500 individuals become involved in the Mercy Volunteer Program from all walks of life background or ages; with the common desire to help… by being a friend, sharing a talent, assisting office workers or visiting with our patients.

Mission Possible Teen Center

A drop-in after school program that is open to all Westbrook teens. All of our services and activities are free for our youth! Snacks and dinner are served daily.

Portland Housing Authority

The Portland Housing Authority provides quality, affordable housing opportunities to low-income families in the Greater Portland Area.

PROP

PROP is a private, not-for-profit corporation, established by the federal Office of Economic Opportunity in 1965, and designated by the Maine Community Services Act as a Community Action Agency serving 23 communities in Cumberland County, Maine.

During PROP's first few years, we realized that the major problems of poverty couldn't be solved until the majority of people acknowledged that the problems existed and could not be ignored. We began organizing the poor and the oppressed, working with them to clarify and voice their concerns.

Ronald McDonald House

Ronald McDonald House is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing affordable, safe and supportive temporary home-like housing to families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals and medical facilities.

STRIVE

We work with ages 15-24 that have developmental disabilities. Our efforts are geared toward giving them the skills and confidence and education to become independent contributors to the community.

Sweetser

Sweetser provides a continuum of comprehensive behavioral and mental health services to children, adults and families throughout the state of Maine.

United Way of Greater Portland

The United Way has two primary functions: raising funds for social services in Cumberland County and promoting community development projects and policies. We provide a referral service for those seeking volunteer opportunities.

Windham Adult Education & Headstart

Adult education is offering a family literacy program, focusing on Head Start families and families with a first grader in SPRIRE and adult education families.

Windham Parks and Recreation

Special events during the year and trail work.

Windham School Age Children

We are a before and after school child care for Windham students grades K-5 and we are located in the Primary School.
