During PROP's first few years, we realized that the major problems of poverty couldn't be solved until the majority of people acknowledged that the problems existed and could not be ignored. We began organizing the poor and the oppressed, working with them to clarify and voice their concerns.
Ronald McDonald House is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing affordable, safe and supportive temporary home-like housing to families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals and medical facilities.
We work with ages 15-24 that have developmental disabilities. Our efforts are geared toward giving them the skills and confidence and education to become independent contributors to the community.
