The NCAA Division III Baseball committee has announced the 56 teams that will compete in the 2014 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship. Saint Joseph's College (28-13, 11-3 GNAC) has been selected as the #6 seed.
101st Commencement celebrates the achievements of 564 graduates
On Saturday, May 10, Saint Joseph’s College held its 101st Commencement, from its Standish campus on the shores of Sebago Lake. This year, the College recognized the accomplishments of 564 graduates: 202 from its on-campus programs and 362 from its online programs.
Faculty member named interim superintendent of Maine’s Catholic schools
Bishop Robert P. Deeley, Bishop of the Diocese of Portland, has named Father Louis J. Phillips, Ph.D., as the interim superintendent of Maine’s Catholic schools. Fr. Phillips succeeds Sister Rosemary Donohue, SND, Ph.D., who announced that she will step down from the position after 21 years on June 30, 2014.
Plaque dedication ceremony held for Clark’s Court
The Saint Joseph’s College community gathered for a plaque dedication ceremony for Clark’s Court on Monday afternoon, May 5. The newly placed plaque was presented to members of the Class of 2014 in memory of their classmate, Clark Noonan.
