Local resident named Miss Maine USA

Kaetlin Parent of Van Buren was crowned Miss Maine USA 2008 on Sunday, Nov. 25 at the Sheraton Tara Hotel in South Portland, after a weekend-long competition. She is a sophomore communications major at the College. A former Miss Maine Teen USA in 2005, she will compete in the Miss USA contest on NBC-TV next spring.
