Baseball Clinic and Wiffle Ball Tournament

The Saint Joseph's College baseball team will be offering a baseball clinic during the February school vacation for boys ages 7-13. The four-day clinic will run Monday through Thursday, Feb. 16-19, at the Harold Alfond Center on the Saint Joseph's campus in Standish from 9 a.m.-noon. The baseball clinic will focus on the fundamental skills of throwing, fielding, hitting, base-running and pitching. Saint Joseph's College coaches and players will serve as instructors. Families have the option to add afternoon child care from noon-3 p.m., which offers lunch, swimming, movies and board games. Or families can choose just the afternoon session without the baseball clinic session. The price for the four-day clinic is $65. Afternoon child care for the four days is $75. Discounts are given for multiple children. The College will also sponsor a Whiffle Ball Tourney on Friday, Feb. 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eight teams of 10 players each will form, and each team will play six games. The cost is $25.
