College hosts regional workshops about online master's degree in education

Saint Joseph's College will host regional information sessions for teachers and others interested in earning their master's degree in education on the following dates and locations:

Monday, Oct. 19, 6 - 7:30 p.m., Calais Motor Inn in Calais
Tuesday, Oct. 20, 6 - 7:30 p.m., Lakeview Restaurant in St. Agatha
Wednesday, Oct. 21, 6- 7:30 p.m., Caribou Inn and Convention Center in Caribou
Thursday, Oct. 22, 6 - 7:30 p.m., Black Mountain of Maine in Rumford

Program director Dr. Thomas Hancock will discuss the online Master of Science in Education program, which is designed for practicing teachers to advance in their career; adults with bachelor's degrees who wish to change careers; and health care professionals who desire positions educating patients and the public.

Light refreshments will be served. Current students and alumni of the program have been invited to join in. Participants are welcome to bring a guest, and everyone is encouraged to pre-register by calling 207-893-7969.
