Writing for Publication workshop on Monday, January 26

Saint Joseph's College will present a "Writing for Publication" workshop on Monday, Jan. 26. A panel of professors will discuss writing in various genres, including specialized and general articles, scholarly and popular books, poetry and fiction.

Discussion will include topics to write about and places to publish. Though aimed at academic writing, the workshop will include discussion of broader markets and is open to the general public.

Panelists include Saint Joseph's professors Mark Green and Gregory Teegarden in the sciences, Elaine Scorpio in psychology, Sharon Martin in nursing, John Zerillo in business, Steven Bridge on theology and Edward Rielly in the humanities. Dr. Rielly will also serve as moderator.

The hour-long panel discussion will be followed by a 40-minute question-and- answer period. The workshop will run from 4-5:40 p.m. in the Alumni Lounge of the Alfond Center on campus.
