Faculty member to serve on committee

Dr. Brian Shelley, assistant professor of biology, was recently appointed to serve a three-year term as Assistant to the President, and Chair of the Executive Committee for the Society for Freshwater Science (formally the North American Benthological Society). The Society for Freshwater Science is an international organization whose members study freshwater organisms, benthic communities, physical processes that affect ecosystem function, linkages between freshwater ecosystems and surrounding landscapes, habitat and water quality, assessment, and restoration.
