Richard Dennison is the director of the Writing Center and an
instructor in the English Department. He has over 30 years experience in the
field of education at both the secondary and post-secondary level. In addition
to being a full time member of the English Department, he has served as Program
Director for the Advanced Placement Summer Institute (APSI) held at the
College in July for the past 12 years - this relationship with the College
Board is a further development of his participation in the AP English
Literature reading every year. He teaches College Writing, American Literature,
Introduction to Literature, Mythology, and Modes of Expression: Time.
Outside of work, he enjoys
reading, skiing, and traveling.
