Daniel Joseph teaches online courses: ED 534 Community Relations and Communication, and ED 516 Standards-Based Learning and Teaching. He is the former principal of James W. Russell School in Gray, Maine, and Memorial School in New Gloucester. He currently works as an educational specialist for the Reinventing Schools Coalition.
Joseph’s studies in educational leadership, school culture, and technology led him to believe that informed shareholders, involvement, and decision-making should be at the heart of school planning and improvement efforts. In his many roles as an educator and leader, he has worked hard to understand and build communication with all shareholders in a community.
