John Munroe is a member of the theology department at Saint Joseph’s College and has been teaching on campus for the online program since 1992. He served as a pastoral associate and director of religious education at Sacred Heart in Yarmouth, Maine, for 15 years retiring in 2000 to devote full time to teaching
He is often called upon to give lectures and workshops throughout the Diocese of Portland. He served as a consultant to the Diocese in the Vision 2000 program whose object was to set the direction of the Diocese in the third millennium. He has served as chairperson of the Diocesan Catholic Campaign for Human Development and also chair of the Diocesan Pontifical Mission-Aid Society.
