Dr. Platt has been in higher education since 2009, beginning as a Nursing Program recruitment and retention specialist. In 2012, she transitioned into the faculty role and has been teaching online and in the classroom since. Dr Platt has maintained her clinical skills as a labor and delivery room nurse. In her spare time, she enjoys photography and playing sports with her children.
She completed her Master’s degree online and views online learning as great option for students to continue their education while maintaining employment and life commitments. Dr. Platt hopes to encourage, mentor, and guide students through their education as they transition into their new roles after graduation.
