Laurie Murphy has more than 20 years of experience working as a human
resources practitioner, serving for 13 of those years as the senior vice
president of human resources at Granite Group Wholesalers. Prior to joining
Granite Group, she was the HR director at ManagedOps.com, a SaaS provider.
Additionally, Professor Murphy holds certification as a Senior Professional in
Human Resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute and is a
Certified Compensation Professional from WorldAtWork.
Professor Murphy is also a member of both the Society of Human
Resources Management and WorldAtWork. When she has a free moment, Murphy enjoys
stand-up paddleboarding, reading, and relaxing with her family.
