Richard Willis began his scholarly life as a historian, and gradually morphed into an academic manager with a continuing education specialty. He has taught and/or managed at UC Berkeley, Tufts University, Thomas College, Saint Joseph’s College, and the Maine Community College System. Most of his life has been spent in New England, although he now lives in northern Arizona.

He is delighted to teach and learn with adult students. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking in new territories, and reading classic and modern mystery fiction.
