Walter Ludwig has taught philosophy since 1981. His research,
articles, and seminar presentations focus on Hegel's philosophy and its
relation to the works of Kant, Husserl, Heidegger, and Gadamer. Dr. Ludwig’s
interest is in showing the contrasting, and yet closely related, positions of
these thinkers regarding the nature of consciousness, subject and object, and
knowledge and truth. His associations include the Northern New England Philosophical
Association, and the Maine Philosophical Institute.
