  • Include single beds, desks, bureaus, wardrobes and overhead lighting.
  • Your Housing Fee includes one set of linens and high-speed Internet connection.
  • You may want to pack extra towels, a small desk lamp, and other amenities.
  • All meals are provided by the College’s food service, Pearson’s Café. Their offerings are healthy, delicious, and unlike typical college fare.
  • Meal service is cafeteria style and includes soups, hot entrees, deli selections, a salad bar that includes prepared cold salads, and a dessert and fruit bar.
  • Lunch and the lobster bake are included in the tuition for all students. Breakfast and dinner are included as part of the housing fee.

Off-campus accommodations near Saint Joseph’s are limited, due to its location in the heart of one of Maine’s most enjoyable recreation areas at the height of the busy summer season. If you prefer to stay on your own, early planning is essential.

  • This region, a favorite four-season vacation spot, has an abundance of clean lakes & rivers, beautiful hiking trails, and quaint New England areas of interest.
  • Popular activities include boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, sunbathing, and golfing.
  • The communities making up the region include Windham, Sebago, Standish, Raymond, Gray, Casco, and Naples. Each has its own attractions.
  • Portland, Maine’s business capital and largest city, is just 20 miles from campus. Here you’ll find numerous shopping possibilities, art galleries, beaches, lighthouses, professional sports teams, a wide range of musical and stage venues, and, of course, unforgettable seafood right off the fishing boats.

Please note: participants living off-campus must make their own reservations and provide their own transportation to and from the College. You are advised to secure your lodging and transportation as soon as possible, since both are at a premium during the summer months in Maine.
