Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies: Accounting Minor

  • Overview

    This degree completion, general studies program in accounting provides students with a solid foundation in accounting practices and may be applied towards fulfilling much of the educational requirements needed to sit for the CPA exam.

    Our unique program can help you accelerate your degree and prepare you to become a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Once students successfully complete the undergraduate coursework prerequisites, they can fast track into our graduate program with waivers for up to two courses in the Master of Accountancy program.

    In order to earn this bachelor's degree, students must complete 128 semester-hours credit, 25% of which must be completed through Saint Joseph's College. 24 semester-hours credit in the bachelor's degree specialization area must be earned through Saint Joseph's College.

  • Curriculum

    Bachelor degree students must complete 128 credits. As part of our residency requirement, at least 25 percent must be earned through Saint Joseph’s College. Students, who have enough credits in the subject area (at least 42 credits), will choose two minors. Each minor ranges between 18-24 credits. Those who complete two minors will exceed the college's 25 percent residency requirement.
