Centering Prayer is a contemplative practice for all interested in meditation, seeking a new path, or deepening their spiritual life. In this session, we provide a “how to” guide and the opportunity to experience this practice which transforms, refreshes, and connects us to a deeper understanding of our Self and life purpose.
Join us to learn and discover how Centering Prayer is an oasis in the midst of our busy lives, demanding schedules, and daily challenges.

About the Presenter
Kathy Tosney, MSW, has been a Centering Prayer Practitioner for 40 years. She presently teaches Contemplative Prayer Practices at Mepkin Abbey’s Institute for Contemplative Eldering and directs Ignatian Retreats at the abbey and in Maine. She offers individual Spiritual Direction and is a member of the Ignatian Spirituality Partnership. She is a graduate of Massachusetts Medical School’s (MBSR) Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Practicum and has taught the MBSR methods in Maine and New Hampshire.
