Clery Act

Clery Crime Statistics Act

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the College publishes an Annual Safety and Security Report containing statistics of specified crimes, arrests and disciplinary referrals. The report also includes statements of policy and procedure pertaining to the Public Safety Department, as well as information about the Maine Sex Offender Registry. Additionally, per changes in the annual reporting requirements effective in 2009, the College also publishes a separate Annual Fire Safety Report. The fire report lists all reported fire alarm activity for the year and provides a description of the cause of each event.

Clery Statistics for the College are also available by visiting Department of Education Office of Post-secondary Education (OPE).

Daily Crime Logs

These files are intended to provide the campus community with a day-by-day reference to reported criminal/public safety and or fire-safety related activity on the campus and are updated regularly. The Clery Act requires that the crime log must reflect the most recent 60 days of reported activity, but older records can be requested; such requests will be answered within 48 business hours of receipt of the request. The daily crime log is also available for inspection (in printed form) at the Campus Security Office in Standish Hall.
