We're here to help.

  • We have a $11.2 M endowment.
  • More than 90% of SJC students receive aid.
  • The average financial aid package includes $14,200 in grants and scholarships.

Just by filling out the admissions application you'll be considered for:

  • Merit scholarships- based on GPA, SAT/ACT, community/school involvement;
  • Eligibility up to $12,000.

Financial aid forms

Complete the following forms after January 1 and before our priority deadline to be considered for grants, work-study funds and loans

  • SJC Financial Aid Calculator (https://sjcme.studentaidcalculator.com/survey.aspx) - you need the following info before filling out: last year's student and parent income tax returns, earnings statements (W2 forms, recent paycheck stubs), bank statements, Investment account statements (stocks, bonds, UGMA/UTMA, 529 plans, Coverdell education plans, business and farm equity), records of untaxed income (child support, contribution to a 401(k) or tax deferred retirement plans), student merit information (GPA and Standardized SAT/ACT test scores, if available). 

Payment options

SJC offers families as much assistance as possible, but you may also want to use our financing options to manage your balance.

  • You may pay by semester or use our ten month, interest free payment plan with Tuition Management Systems.

Scholarships

Last year, more than $8.3 million was awarded for the following scholarships (given to freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors):

Presidential Scholarship
McAuley Scholarship
Saint Joseph Scholarship
Mercy Scholarship

and $2.9 million was awarded in need-based grants. Merit awards are based on a full-time, four-year completion schedule and are made at the time of admission.

Alumni, refer a student and help them earn a scholarship

Alumni, if you refer a student to Saint Joseph's College by March 31, and that student enrolls for fall 2012 semester, he or she will receive a $1,500 scholarship - all thanks to you! (Please note that this scholarship is for full-time, traditional students. It is for the student's first year and is not renewable. Students in the online division are not eligible.)
