Now all recyclables can be placed in the same bin! The blue one!
Our recycling program is now single-stream — one bin fits all!
We did this in the residence halls for the last year and are expanding to
include all blue and blue-topped recycling bins formerly used for just paper.
These include all recycling bins in Alfond Hall.
- Blue-topped containers are now single-stream bins for all recyclables,
except for don't recycle these items below.
- Green-topped container are for returnable bottles and cans with a nickel
deposit.
- The topless container are for garbage.
Look for more bins appearing on campus as the semester progresses. Almost all
waste is recyclable through this program!
