Are you looking for employment related credentials in your professional career journey? Our “stackable” certificate program is designed for career starters, advancers and changers and even non-degree seeking students.
Six certificates are available—each are focused by content and are 100% online. Each certificate is marketable as a standalone subject for employment to help you advance to the next level of your career.
These certificates are perfect for
- Working professionals and other non-degree students without a bachelor’s degree (just starting undergrad studies at SJC).
- Students enrolled in SJC’s undergraduate business administration program.

Curriculum
Accounting Certificate
Develop the skills and knowledge to enter the accounting profession from any starting point and prepare for a career in the public accounting profession. Note: this certificate meets the curricular requirements for State of CPA Maine Licensure. This certificate prepares you for our Master of Business Administration, Leadership program.

Business Basics Certificate
Learn basic business skills for entry level positions or to start your own business. This certificate can serve as a foundation for intermediate accounting and prepares you for the Master of Business Administration, Leadership program.
