Enroll in the general option and choose three business courses from a long list of elective options that suit your particular interests and create a custom focused area of study. This program is also suitable for the transfer of graduate credits with approval.

Health Sector Management
No work experience in the healthcare field is necessary to pursue this concentration. Admissions requirements are the same as they are for the general option.
Health Sector courses were written/designed by Healthcare and Health Administration professionals, and they are taught by them, too – so students will learn relevant content from people with true healthcare expertise.
This option is particularly well suited for professionals who work in industries that serve the healthcare industry, such as medical device manufacturers, calibration firms or pharmaceutical companies.

In our 4+1 Accelerated MBA program (exclusive for SJC undergraduate students), you can begin taking graduate courses in your junior year and apply credits earned toward your MBA immediately following your final undergraduate semester. Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
What are the MBA course requirements for admission?
In both MBA tracks at Saint Joseph’s College, applicants are required to have a bachelor’s degree with a cumulative grade point of 2.5 or better and must submit a 750-word essay for application. The GMAT is not required.
If you are pursuing the Foundational MBA, work experience is not required. However, for the Leadership MBA, applicants must have at least two years of career experience to be eligible for the program.
Business prerequisite coursework may be taken online at any time prior to the start of graduate courses on an as-needed basis, determined from an individualized evaluation of prior learning.
NOTE: If you have a strong interest in the Leadership MBA program but don’t have the requisite employment experience, please contact an admissions counselor. Preparatory credits may be substituted with Program Director approval.
How long does it take to earn an MBA?
If following a full-time course schedule, a student can complete their MBA at Saint Joseph’s in approximately two years. Individual time to completion for Saint Joseph’s online MBA program will vary depending upon credit transfer, prerequisite coursework and whether or not the student follows a full-time course schedule. We suggest speaking with one of our admissions counselors to discuss your individual credit and schedule options to get an understanding of your own time to completion.
