Pat Watson has worked as a registered dietitian for more than 30 years. In addition to academics, her work experience encompasses public health, clinical dietetics, and food service both in the hospital and university settings. In 1998, she became a certified diabetes educator. In 2007, she completed Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management by the Commission of Dietetic Registration. She is a licensed Shapedown Provider, a family-based, pediatric obesity program developed by the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine.
Since 2003, she has been active on the Maine Dietetic Association’s Board of Directors. In 2010, she was honored by her peers as the Maine Dietetic Association’s Outstanding Dietitian of the Year.
