Sheri Brinson has devoted most of her adult life to the field of healthcare, finance and education. She earned an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Mount Olive University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Health Care.
She is currently the Accounting Supervisor at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston, NC, and coaches volleyball at the local college. Volleyball is a sport she played while in college and she enjoys the coaching aspect of the sport as much as she did playing. Her background includes 25+ years as an accountant in various settings with the past 12 years being in the hospital or medical setting.
Besides traveling with her family and friends, in her spare time (which isn't much), she loves to play golf, water ski, play volleyball, and go fishing with her dad. The only thing about fishing is she never seems to catch anything. Her dad always reminds her that it is called fishing and not catching for a reason! She still finds no humor in that after sitting out there all day.
Sheri is currently working on her doctorate in Business Administration. As an online student, she feels her experience helps her better relate to the online students she facilitates. Her teaching methods include peer group learning and collaborative problem solving.
