Yu Ping Hu is a Lab Instructor and Chemical Hygiene Officer (CHO) at Saint Joseph’s College. She teaches lab courses for Organic Chemistry, Principles of Chemistry, and
Chemistry for Health Sciences. As the CHO, she coordinates hazardous waste ship offs, educates students on laboratory safety on a yearly basis, and maintains an overall safe environment for laboratory personnel.
Most of all, she is a proud alumna who graduated in 2015. Before coming back to SJC (which is home to her), she worked in other laboratories testing well water and assisting workflow for specimens. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, caring for her cute pets, and gardening.
