Retired Educator and Author

After receiving her MBA from Clarkson University, Judy Graham began her career as a National Account Executive with AT&T, traveling around the US for her client, United Technologies Corporation. When she started a family and yearned for less travel, she went back to school for a PhD at Syracuse University in Business Administration (all three of her children were born during her time at SU). From there she followed her husband’s career to Rochester, New York and took a faculty position at St. John Fisher University. While at SJF, she published a top-selling textbook (Pearson Prentice Hall) and dozens of articles. She was hired as a visiting professor in Europe and Asia for her expertise in the area of Consumer Psychology/Behavioral Economics, including twice to teach in CEIBS’s MBA program in Shanghai, China. The MBA program at CEIBS is consistently ranked (Financial Times) in the Top 10 MBA programs of the world. At her home institution of St. John Fisher, she was a founder of the School of Business and a primary architect of its AACSB accreditation, making SJF one of the smallest schools to receive this prestigious accreditation. In 2015, she retired and moved to the Portland, Maine area with her husband. In 2016, she went back to school once again in order to become an Interfaith Chaplain, working with women caught in the opioid epidemic. She was ordained by the Chaplaincy Institute of Maine (ChIME) in 2018. She lives with her husband, Mark – and often their visiting kids and grandkids – only three minutes from Saint Joseph’s College on beautiful Sebago Lake.
