In July 2026 Saint Joseph’s College welcomed Dr. Kyoung (Kay) Ash as its Interim Chief Financial Officer.
Kay is an accomplished executive administrator with a background in private non-profit colleges as well as in community college systems. Her experience includes the areas of technology transformation change management, finance and budget, marketing, human resources, facilities, resource development, instruction, and public relations.
She was most recently with Ringling College of Art and Design in Florida. Among other experiences, Kay has served as the Vice Chancellor for Finance with the Alabama Department of Postsecondary Education. She has also served her regional accrediting commission as a financial expert for colleges across the southern region.
Kay holds a Ph.D. from Colorado State University. She earned a master’s degree in Management and a bachelor’s in Business Administration at Iowa State University.
