STANDISH, ME — Under a bright spring sky and the signature white tent behind the Alfond Center, Saint Joseph’s College of Maine celebrated its 2026 Commencement on Saturday, May 9th.
OAKLAND, ME – In a powerful display of community and character, Messalonskee High School senior Adriana Pettengill was awarded a full-ride scholarship to Saint Joseph’s College of Maine (SJC) today.
Jeff Moody joined the Saint Joseph’s Board in 2021. His wife Theresa is a proud Saint Joe’s alum, having graduated with a BSN in the Class of ’80.
Jeff is a graduate of Amherst College and of Kellogg School of Management. He spent 36 years in marketing and restaurant leadership roles including serving as CEO of Rita’s Italian Ice, CEO of Subway’s Advertising Trust, CEO of Metromedia Restaurants (Bennigan’s, Steak and Ale, Ponderosa and Bonanza), President of KFC, and Sr. VP Operations for Pizza Hut, KFC and Taco Bell Internationally. If you’ve ever eaten a $5 Footlong, a bucket of chicken or a pan pizza you’ve sampled his wares.
Since joining the Board, Jeff has served in leadership roles, which have allowed him to help the Saint Joseph’s community in its efforts to build on the college’s strong foundation and execute exciting transformation.
