“My name is DeVondia Hughes-Thomas. I work as a Trauma CT/Radiology Technologist at a
large trauma facility in Northern California. I am a wife and mother of three beautiful children. I
have worked in the healthcare field for over 27 years. My passion and desire to want to learn and
provide a higher and more efficient quality of care prompted me to seek higher education and go
back to school. I recently graduated from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine in May 2025 with a
Bachelors of Science in Radiology Administration. After completing that degree, I decided to
continue on to the Master’s in Healthcare Administration Program at Saint Joseph’s, where I am
currently a full-time student. In my free time, I enjoy attending sporting events, traveling, and
outdoor activities. My goal is to contribute to meaningful improvements in healthcare delivery
along with staff and patient outcomes.”
