After years in military medicine and leadership, I understood pressure, accountability, and what it means to be responsible for other people. What I was missing was the space to slow down, reflect, and think intentionally about where I wanted to take that experience next. This program gave me that space.
From the beginning, I felt respected as a person, not just evaluated as a student. My background was not something I had to explain or defend. It was welcomed, challenged, and thoughtfully integrated into the coursework. The conversations felt real. The feedback was direct and constructive. I was pushed to think deeper about systems, ethics, and leadership in ways that connected immediately to the realities of healthcare.
Completing both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Saint Joseph’s College allowed me to grow over time rather than all at once. I was able to develop my voice, refine how I approach leadership, and build a stronger framework for decision making. The program helped me put language to experiences I had lived for years and better understand how policy, operations, and technology intersect with patient care.
