How much will this program cost?

Students must already hold an active, unrestricted RN license to pursue this program. Most applicants have earned their associate degree in nursing in order to become licensed. Those holding an ADN can anticipate spending approximately $19,890* to complete their BSN degree at SJC.

*Assumes transfer of 69 credits into the program. Transferring in less credits or more credits (with a maximum of 90 transfer credits accepted) will impact the cost of the program accordingly. Enrolled students can receive one free general education course for every nine nursing credits completed (the major requires 27 nursing credits). Students will take their nursing courses first and then any general education courses, if needed.

Students enrolled in the RN to BSN program must complete 120 semester hour credits through a combination of transfer, enrollment, and challenge examinations. Nurses with a nursing diploma will receive 30 credits in transfer for their lower-level BSN nursing courses. Thirty semester hours must be earned through Saint Joseph’s College. A full transcript evaluation will be done after acceptance to determine all possible transfer credit.
