Alumni Weekend

Join us on Alumni Weekend. We have lots of fun events planned - cruise Casco Bay, see the new Baggot Street Café, and enjoy the Lobster Bake!

Alumni Weekend 2016

Alumni Weekend 2018 is July 27-29.

The 2017 festivities kicked off with a cruise around Casco Bay on Friday night aboard the Harbor Queen. Friends from as near as Portland and as far as California grooved to classics like Van Morrison’s “Brown Eyed Girl” and Three Dog Night’s “Joy to the World” performed live by the popular cover band the Time Pilots. Ryan Sullivan ’09 and Susan Jones Vontell ’82 brought tremendous energy to the dance floor and helped get the party started.

The cruise provided a way for classmates Jeff Ferguson ’08, Andrew Vaughn ’07, and Nicholas Peterson ’05 to catch up and reminisce about their shared college memories—from celebrating the Red Sox World Series victory in 2004 to watching Law and Order marathons in the dorms during winter snowstorms.

“I deeply appreciate the College for taking the time to organize the events for alumni to reconnect. It is the focal point of my vacation,” said Andrew.

Florida resident Michelle Cioci McKinnon ’64 joined her college roommate Judy Venasia Cavagaugh ’64 at the weekend’s events. Michelle had missed her 50th Reunion and wanted to tour the campus to see all that has changed since her last visit.

The weekend continued with a lobster bake down by the lake on Saturday evening, and finished with a jazz brunch in the Stone Barn on Sunday, with lots of fun activities in between.
