Alumni Network

SJC alumni are making a difference out in the world and here at home, paving the way for future generations of Monks.

Saint Joseph’s College has over 100 years of history to draw upon and eight decades of graduates living around the world. That’s thousands of alumni across all 50 states and abroad, extending Saint Joseph’s reach far beyond our home base in Standish, Maine. Whether you are actively involved with the College’s alumni network or are ready to reconnect with your alma mater, welcome!

Our Alumni Association Includes You

A group of alumni at Monkstoberfest

Every graduate of a Saint Joseph’s program, both on campus and online, is automatically a member of the Alumni Association. And you have an open invitation to get involved! The Alumni Association works closely with the Alumni Relations Office to keep you in the loop with updates on former classmatesevent information, opportunities to give back, and ways to connect with the current generation of SJC students.

Regional Chapters

With regional chapters in Boston, New Hampshire, and the New York/New Jersey/Metro Philly area, we’re eager to continue expanding our network. The goal is to serve all areas where SJC alumni live.

Alumni Affinity Groups
SJC Affinity Groups are structured groups of people who come together around a common interest. The groups may be professional in nature, or related to activities pursued while a student at Saint Joseph’s, or other areas of common interest.

The Saint Joseph’s affinity group program has a formal recognition process. For more information on starting an alumni affinity group, contact the Alumni Office at alumni@sjcme.edu or 207-893-7890.

Distinguished Alumni Awards
The Distinguished Alumni Awards Dinner is an annual Saint Joseph's tradition that allows the College community to shine a light on noteworthy alums who have been nominated for recognition by their peers.

The College honors alumni who have demonstrated excellence in community service, philanthropy, leadership, spirit, and entrepreneurship. Awards include the Catherine McAuley Award, named for the founder of the Sisters or Mercy. It is reserved for an individual or group who, through selfless service to those in need, reflects the values and spirit of Catherine McAuley.
