Students are treated in compliance with HIPPA regulations, maintaining complete confidentiality. Their medical information can only be released after a written request has been submitted.
  • The Health and Wellness Center also offers routine lab testing, PPD testing, and limited immunizations.

Student Health Insurance Program

In accordance with federal law and the College policy, all students must be enrolled in a form of health insurance. To this end, students are automatically enrolled in the Saint Joseph’s Student Health Insurance Program for which a separate fee is charged, viewable on each student’s billing statement through the Treasurer's Office. Students have the opportunity to opt out of the automatic Saint Joseph’s Student Health Insurance Program, provided the student or family can provide proof of coverage by private medical insurance. Instructions for providing proof of coverage are below. The College is pleased to partner with Cross Insurance Agency as our student health insurance manager. Visit http://www.crossagency.com/sjc for specific information about the Saint Joseph’s student health insurance policy.
