Giving in Honor & in Memory
Ryan Rogers ’20 Samaritan Scholarship Fund
The Rogers Family has established a scholarship fund that will be a perpetual living testament to their son Ryan’s short but unforgettable life. The Ryan Rogers Samaritan Scholarship Fund will benefit students who are tirelessly committed to doing good for others, as demonstrated by the parable of the Good Samaritan found in the Gospel of Luke, and as demonstrated by Ryan during his life.

Westbrook Comes on Strong Again
Westbrook Strong is the result of the efforts of the extended Rairdon family, volunteers from all over the Westbrook community, and generous sponsorships from local businesses. Matthew’s parents, Laurie and Gary Rairdon P’13, visited campus this fall to meet this year’s recipients, Brianna Frank ’19 and Brittney Arsenault ’19. Laurie described, “There are no words that can adequately express what this means to our family. It feels like a ‘Love Run’—this is an environment has had a goal of celebrating his life and contributing to his legacy rather than winning the race…The number of people and companies that came together speaks volumes about the generosity of people.”
This fun event helps grow nursing scholarships for the largest group of students at the College. Thank you to everyone that joined the 2021 run! To make a gift to the Matthew Rairdon ’13 Memorial Nursing Endowment, please visit sjcme.edu/donate.
