Bachelors of Social Work to Masters of Social Work Program
University of New England and Saint Joseph’s College of Maine recognize the importance of providing a seamless coordination between bachelor’s and master’s degree enrollment. With a master’s degree, social workers can begin the process of earning clinical licensure and can enter the popular and growing field of therapeutic clinical practice.
In order to facilitate this process for interested students, SJC and UNE have entered into a transfer agreement. This transfer agreement provides transfer admission opportunities for graduates of Saint Joseph’s College Bachelors of Social Work who are academically qualified and are interested in completing their Masters of Social Work degree online with University of New England. Students who have completed Saint Joseph’s Bachelors of Social Work will be eligible to apply for Advanced Standing at University of New England’s Master’s of Social Work.
With Advanced Standing, a student’s timeline to completion of the MSW degree may be shortened from two years to one year!
