On-campus students, faculty and staff

All Saint Joseph’s College on-campus students, faculty, and staff members have ID cards that also serve as library cards. To check out items, you must present your SJC ID card at the circulation desk.

To request items from other libraries in MINERVA and MaineCat, check your library record and renew materials in MINERVA, and download audiobooks and/or ebooks from the Maine InfoNet Download Library, you will need your library barcode/card number (the 14-digit number starting with 21912 at the bottom of your SJC ID). You may also get your library barcode/card number by logging on to Campus Cafe.

Immediate family members of faculty and staff

The collections of the Wellehan Library are intended primarily to support the students, faculty, and staff of Saint Joseph’s College. However, immediate family members of College faculty and staff may request free Wellehan Library courtesy cards. Immediate family members are defined as spouses and children age 18 or those who reside at the same address as the SJC faculty or staff member.

Any alumnus/alumna of Saint Joseph’s College who resides in the local area can be a patron of the Wellehan Library. You will need to present your SJC alumni ID card* to a staff member at the circulation desk and provide current contact information (mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address).

*To obtain an ID card, please visit the Alumni Office on the first floor of Xavier Hall.
