Directing your question to the appropriate department will help expedite a response, but know that if your question ends up in the wrong place, library and IT staff will ensure it gets to the right one.

Access Issues

If the IT department’s single sign-on service is down, you will not be able to log in to Campus Café, Brightspace, or SJC email via the usual links.  In these instances, use these links for access:

Library Barcode/Card Number

You will need your library barcode/card number; a 14 digit number starting with 21912 if you have borrowed physical books from the Wellehan Library and want to view your library record in MINERVA or want to download audiobooks and/or ebooks from the Maine InfoNet Download Library. Your library barcode/card number may be found by logging on to Campus Cafe. Choose My Info, then Web Services. Your barcode is a 14-digit number starting with 21912.

Student borrowing policy

Students are responsible for items checked out on their library records. Overdue notices are sent via e-mail. For items that are long overdue, a bill for the cost of the item will be sent via e-mail to the student and forwarded to the Treasurer's Office to be added to the student's bill.

To borrow a circulating item owned by Wellehan Library, submit a request form.  Books are sent to our online students by mail.  Any borrowed items must be mailed back to:

Wellehan Library
Saint Joseph's College
278 Whites Bridge Road
Standish, ME 04084

Students are responsible for shipping charges.

Accessing library resources from off-campus

When accessing the library's research databases and other online resources from off campus, you will be prompted to enter your SJC login.  Your SJC login is the username (omit the @sjcme.edu) and password you use to log in to all other SJC resources like Brightspace and Campus Cafe
