Publications

"Unearthed: Storied Artifacts & Remarkable Predecessors of the Saint Joseph's College Campus" Saint Joseph's College Press, Fall 2016

"Getting the Old Testament: What it Meant to Them; What it Means to Us" (Peabody, MA:  Hendrickson/Baker).

  •  “In the quest for the ultimate undergraduate textbook, Bridge’s Getting the Old Testament has got a significant place…. there is much to recommend this book.  The scope is ambitious and the format compelling: to give an introduction to the Hebrew Bible is no mean task.” —The Expository Times

"Getting the Gospels: Understanding the New Testament Accounts of Jesus’ Life" (Peabody, MA:  Hendrickson/Baker).

  • “With its short but packed chapters, accessible writing style and allusions to pop culture, this introduction to the four gospels contains enough meat for scholars, presented in a way that will be palatable for the general reader  With contagious enthusiasm and a fine attention to detail that never loses sight of the big picture, this little book is a gem of accessible biblical scholarship.” (Starred Review) —Publishers Weekly

“Where the Eagles are Gathered”:  The Deliverance of the Elect in Lukan Eschatology (JSNTSup 240;  Sheffield: Sheffield Academic Press)

  • “All in all, Bridge’s work is an important contribution to Lukan eschatology and to the interpretation of the eagle logion (17:37).  The evidence he gives to support his views on the eagle logion are highly persuasive, especially in regard to his discussion about the use of the aetoi in antiquity (ch. 3).”—Review of Biblical Literature

“Sacred Geology: The Bedrocks of our Faith,” Limina: A Journal of Theology (Spring 2014) 25-29.
