Patricia’s clinical background is mostly in critical care and medical-surgical nursing and she has spent time as a travel nurse. She pivoted to nursing education in 2017 and discovered she had a passion for it. Patricia recently obtained a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Regis College. Her DNP project titled “Increasing Cultural Competency in Nursing Faculty Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) Nursing Students: A Project Improvement Study" was inspired by the stories and experiences of the English language learners in her classrooms.
In her spare time, Patricia enjoys videography, yoga, and travel.
