Transcript Request

Transcript requests are normally processed within one to three business days of receipt of the request. Requests for multiple transcripts may require more time. Standard delivery of transcripts is by USPS, first-class. To provide the best service possible and to maintain security of academic records, transcripts may be ordered the following ways:

Electronic Transcripts

Saint Joseph's College, in partnership with SCRIP-SAFE International, is able to deliver official transcripts electronically through eSCRIP-SAFE to network recipients or outside the network to third parties. This electronic delivery service is available only to SJC students who have enrolled since September 1980. For questions or issues regarding this service, please contact SCRIP-SAFE International at

  • Network Delivery: Before completing your transcript request, please check the  network recipient list to see if your intended receiver is a member of the electronic network. If the recipient is in the network, insert their name on your order form and check "electronic network recipient."
  • OneTime Delivery: If your intended recipient is not a network member and you wish to deliver your transcript electronically, this method may be used. Receivers are designated and identified by you, the requestor, through the recipient's email address.

You should always notify your intended recipient they will be receiving important email messages regarding the electronic delivery of your transcript. To ensure delivery of these important email messages, inform the recipient to add the domain name of @escrip-safe to their safe-sender email list.

OneTime Delivery receivers must complete a simple registration for each transcript delivered through eSCRIP-SAFE. In addition, they must have a copy of Adobe Reader 7.0 or higher, which is a free download. The receiver has three options to retain the transcript: save to the institution's document imaging system, save electronically as a PDF document, or print to paper.

Your transcript is never delivered by email; email is limited to notification and reminder messages regarding the delivery of your transcript.

To use this method, include the recipient's name and email address on the order form and check the "electronic outside the network recipient" option.

Note: Electronic transcripts sent to the recipient are considered official upon delivery, but become unofficial if passed on to another recipient.

Paper Transcripts

There are two ways to order an official paper transcript: online and in person.

The link will walk you through placing your order, including service fees and delivery options. The service fee is $8 per transcript delivery address. Order updates will be emailed to you. You can also check your order status or history online. Any major credit card may be used. Your card will only be charged after your transcript has been sent.

In Person

A form can be obtained at the Office of the Registrar. There is a $8.00 charge for each paper transcript. Check, money order, and credit card are accepted for payment in person. We cannot accept requests for transcripts over the phone.
