Saint Joseph's College students hang out in nearby Portland, Maine's largest city. You’re in!

If you are a high school student with a GPA of 2.5 or higher, skip the application fee and don’t worry about the dreaded essay or recommendation letters. Complete the three steps below, and you will receive your official acceptance letter.

Step 1

⇒ Complete this simple admission form.

Step 2

Email us your official or unofficial high school transcript to confirm your scholarship  eligibility and receive an admission letter of acceptance.

⇒ Email your transcript to admissions@sjcme.edu.

Step 3

Finally, we want you to make an informed financial decision about the cost of attending  St. Joe's. Apply for Federal Student Aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Both you and your parents have to fill out the application.

⇒ Visit https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa, and list St. Joe’s FAFSA code: 002051.
(If  you’ve already completed the FAFSA, you can add our FAFSA code by revisiting your account and  adding St. Joe’s code)

⇒ At the end of January, the federal government informed colleges and universities that Free Application for Federal Students Assistance (FAFSA) information would not be available to all schools until mid-March. Colleges are prohibited from distributing any federal funds until they receive the information from the federal government. However, after submitting your FAFSA, you will receive an email with your Student Aid Index, or SAI. By providing us with it, we can provide you with an estimated financial aid offer for the 2024-2025 academic year so that you can continue planning to fund your college experience.

⇒ Contact our Admissions Financial Aid Counselor, Jaylin Cloutier (207-893-6610 or jcloutier@sjcme.edu), and provide her with your Estimated Student Aid Index  (SAI)

Within 48 business hours, we will send your Financial Aid package.
