With nearly 50 years in distance education, we understand that adult learners are busy with many commitments outside of their coursework -- which is why we have a structure that allows you to study whenever and wherever works best for you. Our online courses are either 10 or 12 weeks long, and each program offers up to 5 start dates per year.  There is no requirement to log on at a specific time,* and online access to each course is available 24/7. Coursework will be due each week to keep you on track towards completing your credential.

* Graduate Health Administration courses have a one hour live lecture each week.

Watch this video from one online student about how an online education from Saint Joseph’s helped elevate her career path.

Whether you are just starting your education journey, looking to transfer, or ready to get a graduate degree, we can help.

Special Tuition for Employees of CFTEA Member Organizations

  • As an employee of a member organization, you can take advantage of our partnership with CFTEA by enrolling with SJC Online and save 15% on tuition for each course you take. Just be sure to indicate on your application when you apply for free that you are affiliated with an education partner. Your admissions counselor will then walk you through your next steps. Once admitted to SJC, you can enroll and enjoy the benefits of getting a high quality, convenient, and affordable education online! Excludes our campus and hybrid ABSN (Accelerated BSN for non RNs) programs.

This tuition benefit is available to Center for Financial Training & Education Alliance's members and their employees only. If you’re not sure if you qualify, see the member list at the bottom of this webpage.

→ Visit our partnership tuition page to learn more about your special rate.

Costs and admissions requirements vary depending on the degree level, program type and other factors. Submit a request for more information and one of our friendly and knowledgeable admissions counselors will contact you with additional details.

How to receive your special tuition rate

When you apply, you’ll find a section that asks for employer information. There, you can indicate that you are a member/employee of an organization that is an educational partner with Saint Joseph's College. Then select "Center for Financial Training & Education Alliance" as your education partner. This will ensure we are aware of your eligibility for our partnership rate, and we will know to apply that to your course enrollments moving forward. In addition, please indicate who you are employed by on the application.

Please note: The tuition reduction is effective for enrollment in future terms and will not be applied retroactively.

The special tuition rate is available for employees that are enrolled in any online degree, excluding the ABSN (Accelerated BSN for non RNs).

There is no fee to apply to SJC, so submit an application today!

More

How does online learning work?2019-08-12T14:33:54-04:00

Our courses are delivered via a learning portal, Brightspace. They operate in an asynchronous format, meaning you will have set due dates for assignments in your courses, but are not required to be logged on at a particular time.*  You can complete the coursework at times that are convenient for your schedule with the established due dates. Online students engage with their instructor and classmates through discussion boards and individual feedback from the instructor.

*Courses in the Master of Health Administration program include one live REEL session per week. A day and time that works for students is determined by the instructor each term.

Is the GRE or GMAT required for graduate programs?2019-08-12T14:32:03-04:00

No, we do not require any admissions testing for our graduate programs.

When do classes start?2022-06-17T16:20:40-04:00

The majority of our programs offer five 10-week terms per year. For the 2022-2023 academic year, our 10-week terms will begin in August, October, January, March, and May. Our Nursing and Graduate Theology programs offer four 12-week terms per year beginning in July, October, January and April.

What about SAT scores or high school transcripts?2022-06-17T16:18:48-04:00

No test scores are required when applying to SJC. High school transcripts are only required for students who have not taken college classes before at an accredited college or university.
