MaryAnn Sheridan has been teaching undergraduates for the past 30 years, including courses at Fordham, the College of New Rochelle, Loyola University-New Orleans, and Saint Joseph’s College. At Saint Joseph’s she teaches courses in Judaeo-Christianity, Comparative Religion, Native American Religion, and Faith and Film. She has co-authored two books on Native American storytelling, traditional and recent forms. In the past few years, she has incorporated the use of film in each of her courses to bring home the relevant course issues in a more personal and immediate idiom.
